Playing SMV from a CR-ROM that uses polling lacks in performance
A polling CD-ROM is one that is not interrupt, DMA, or I/O
driven. (i.e. CD-ROM connected to a Sound Blaster 16 SCSI uses
polling). The performance hits are described as jerky video
when played from CD-ROM.
This is outlined in defect 10082.

ERROR DESCRIPTION:
When editing a .wav file recorded in stereo using the select all
edit function, the digital audio session terminates without any
error message. Some of the edit options failing are: Double
speed, Half speed, Reverse and Mix from file. These are the
steps to recreate the problem.
1. Open digital audio
2. Record a .wav file in stereo.
3. Click on Edit and then select All.
4. Click on Edit and then select Double Speed.
5. The clock appears and then after a few seconds the audio
player terminates without an error message
These problem does not always occur when editing small stereo
files. This may be to the allocation of resources.
LOCAL FIX:
Any selection techniques will work, other than Select All.
