  4. To all beta testers:

  6. This ZIP file contains the first beta release for LA Gopher, my newest
  7. application.  LA Gopher is a 32-bit multi-threaded Gopher Client for IBM
  8. TCP/IP version 1.2.1 or later and OS/2 2.1 or later.
  9.  
  10. It is designed to replace that Gopher client from the IBM Employee Written
  11. Software project, and offers many features that the IBM client does not
  12. have, including speed.
  13.  
  14. This beta code is available for comment and evaluation only.  If you happen
  15. to see a bug not mentioned below, please report it to me. If there is a 
  16. feature that you feel is missing, please send me some e-mail so I can put it
  17. on the feature list.

  27. - Optional archiving of gopher pages and documents for much faster
  28.   operation (especially across slower connections - like SLIP), and
  29.   much less network activity.
