  10.         PREFIX is designed to display the city zone, when given an
  11.         Area Code and the first three digits of a phone number.  This
  12.         makes placing calls much easier, since you can tell ahead of
  13.         time whether the number will be local or long distance.  The
  14.         program is particularly useful for those who...

  16.          ...make routine phone calls as part of their daily
  17.              business.
  18.          ...frequently call BBS numbers, but need to know WHERE they
  19.              are calling.
  20.          ...audit their phone bills.

  22.         The program is pretty straight forward in usage.  TAB toggles
  23.         between the Area Code and the Prefix fields.  ENTER searches
  24.         for the city.  ESCape exits the program.
  25.  
  26.         The built-in database contains over 4000 prefix entries, for
  27.         more than 600 cities throughout the state of California.
  28.         Please note that new telephone prefixes are continually being
  29.         added.  If you find a city or prefix missing from the
  30.         database, I will gladly add it to the next release if you
  31.         bring it to my attention.

  33.         BENEFITS TO REGISTRATION:  For the reasonable registration
  34.         fee of $5, you will receive the latest version of PREFIX,
  35.         along with other handy utilities - including an Area Code
  36.         locator for the entire United States and Canada.  This
  37.         utility will search either by Area Code or by State/Province.
