PBScan 2.0, Copyright (c) 1994 Mystery Box. All rights reserved.
Type PBSCAN /HELP for command line options.
This program was written for use with WordPerfect version 6.0a (DOS)
Previous versions of WordPerfect 6.0 only allowed the use of one phonebook
file for users of the Intel SatisFAXtion(TM) fax modem. With version 6.0a
users can switch between phonebook files, but an INTELFAX.DAT data file is
required to specify which phonebook files are available.
This utility allows automatic updating of the INTELFAX.DAT file. It scans
the directory where the phonebook files (*.PB) are located, copies existing
files and descriptions, adds new phonebooks, and removes non-existing ones.
Put PBScan in the WP60 directory, and call from a batch file before WP.COM
PBScan is intended for a single-user installation of WordPerfect 6.0a (DOS)
and the Intel SatisFAXtion(TM) phonebook files. Neither Mystery Box nor the
author are responsible for any probem due to use or misuse of this program.
The author has no association of with Intel Corp. or WordPerfect Corp.
To use this program, type PBSCAN at the DOS prompt, the program assumes that
you have installed the Intel SatisFAXtion software in the default C:\FAX
directory. The INTELFAX.DAT file is not part of the Intel software, but is
used by WordPerfect 6.0a to load the names of phone books available. PBSCAN
will automatically update the INTELFAX.DAT file in the C:\FAX directory.
The program is intended to be run from a batch file just before the commands
to run WordPerfect. It can also be run by itself as for periodic maintenance.
The following options are available. These options can be combined on the
command line in any order, and only the first letter of the command is
required (i.e. /S and /SHOW are the same).
Command usage: PBSCAN [options]
