Here goes... First a Liddle <G> explanation on how I have security
levels setup on my BBS. My first Patron Membership Level is 71. The
next levels are 72, 73, & 74. In this sample .CFG file I ommitted
Level 73. A non-subscribing user on my BBS is assigned a Level 70.
Each successive Subscribing Level's expiratioon date is 3 months longer.
Now for Lines 7, 8, & 9. I have 5 special levels for users that
qualify. They are levels 80 (non-subscribing), 81, 82, 83, & 84.
Notice that these special levels are 10 above the normal Security Levels.
Here is where the last 3 lines in the .CFG file come into play if you have
special levels. If you have NO SPECIAL LEVELS, enter 0 (Zero) on these lines.
Line 7 is the low end special level (80 in my example)
Line 8 is the top end special level (84 in my example)
Line 9 indicates how far above the normal level your special levels begin.
I'm sure I could have written the door to work differently, but I
modeled it after my setup. Plus, I'm still learning the ropes of
programming.
Now that you are totally confused, I can be reached thru the RIME Doors
conference, or GAP support conference. Naturally, my BBS is
open 24 hours, 7 days/week.
Thanks for your patience. The Beckett BBS
