  14.    Congratulations! You are now the owner of a copy of an UNREGISTERED version
  15.    of WXFAX v1.2, THE Weather Facsimile Database Programme for
  16.    radio-listening-amateurs.
  17.    WXFAX v1.2 contains information of ALL Weather Facsimile Stations around the
  18.    world which are operational on Longwave and Shortwave.
  19.    With the registered version of WXFAX v1.2 you are able to make listings of
  20.    fax-stations in frequency, station, callsign and country order as well as a
  21.    list of addresses, an ITU country list and a list of transmissions (both to
  22.    the screen and to the printer) including some sample weather maps.

  24.    This version of WXFAX v1.2 is distributed FREE-OF CHARGE to reach the widest
  25.    possible audience though remains copyrighted material.
  26.    You are granted permission to use the programme, and to make as many backup
  27.    copies for your own purposes and for others as you want.
  28.    You are encouraged to distribute copies of this UNREGISTERED version of
  29.    WXFAX v1.2, subject to the following conditions:

  78.    INSTALLATION :

  80.    Copy all the files distributed on the floppy disk to a subdirectory on your
  81.    harddisk and run WXFAX or just run the programme directly from the floppy
  82.    disk.

  85.    NOTES :
  86.  
  87.    The sample map can only be displayed on a VGA or SVGA screen in a 640 * 480
  88.    resolution. Using another type of screen will result in a message on the
  89.    screen that you can't use this option.
  90.    I have tested the programme with several VGA-cards though it is very well
  91.    possible that the picture can not be displayed on some types of of these
  92.    cards.

  95.    ORDERING INFORMATION :

  97.    Registration of the software provides you with a PERSONAL copy of the latest
  98.    version of WXFAX v1.2, customized with your name and registration, number
  99.    and without the beginning pause/UNREGISTERED notice as in the UNREGISTERED
  100.    version of WXFAX v1.2.
  101.    To register just fill in the supplied REGISTR.FRM file.

  104.    USAGE :
  105.  
  106.    I will not give a full explanation about how the programme works; just run
  107.    the programme by typing WXFAX <Enter> and you will see how simple it all is.

  109.    It is NOT possible to change any of the data but you will receive the latest
  110.    available fax-database-file (updated on a continuous bases) if you register
  111.    and after a year or so you will receive a message that there will be a new
  112.    version of the software available for considerable reduced cost if you have
  113.    a REGISTERED version.
