  5. STSORBIT PLUS is now over two years old and is being used throughout the
  6. United States and Canada as well as Europe, the Pacific, and Australia.
  7. The program is free and widely available. The current version is always
  8. posted on my bulletin board systems at (310) 541-7299 and (310) 544-8977.

  66. REGISTRATION AND DONATIONS

  69. Registration of STSORBIT PLUS is optional but strongly encouraged. I've
  70. spent thousands of hours on the program and make it and my bulletin board
  71. systems available as a public service. The modest donation will help
  72. inspire me to continue improving the program and help offset the costs of
  73. mailing, software development and my bulletin board systems. As a bonus for
  74. your registration, I will mail the current version on disk which includes
  75. the Level 3 and Level 4 map databases. Registration requires a minimum
  76. donation of US$10.00 but you are invited to donate whatever you feel the
  77. program is worth! This has turned out to be an expensive "hobby"! Sorry,
  78. I can't accept credit cards or foreign currencies.

  80. Please specify disk size; sorry, because of file sizes, the program is
  81. ONLY available on higher density disks. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for
  82. delivery -- in case I am out of town.

  97. ADDITIONAL MAP DATABASE FILES

  100. Most users will probably be satisfied with the Level 3 map database files
  101. which are available for download and are included with normal registration.
  102. However, for users who plan on using higher zoom factors and wish substan-
  103. tially better map detail, two sets of higher detail map database files are
  104. available: Level 1 (highest detail) and Level 2 (next highest detail). The
  105. higher level map databases will be automatically selected for higher zoom
  106. factors if present. Map drawing times are longer with higher detail map
  107. database files!

  109. REGISTERED USERS may obtain the additional map database files separately
  110. on disk for an additional donation of US$10.00 EACH. Please note that
  111. because of file sizes, ONLY high density disks are available. Files are
  112. supplied in compressed, self-extracting .EXE format.
