Notes of Interest:
All the team members of the Peter I DXpedition have assembled at the
Falkland Islands and are preparing for a 23 January sailing, with an
anticipated landing on the island of 1 February, +/- ice and weather.
Departure will be 12-14 February. RTTY frequencies for 3Y0PI will be
1825, 3680, 7070, 14080, 21080, and 28180 KHz. They will be listening
up. Other mode frequencies are: CW-1826, 3522 (US), 3507 (EU), 7022
(US), 10104, 14024, 18074, 21024, 24894, 28024. SSB-1845, 3785 (US),
3800 (EU QSX down), 7065, 14195, 18145, 21295, 24945, 28475.
Satellite-(QSX down) 145.890 (AO-10 and AO-13). Look for them as
VP8BZL/MM while they are enroute to the island. QSL both VP8BZL and
3Y0PI to AA6BB.
St. Peter and St. Paul Rocks - This all band/all mode expedition was
scheduled to have started on 20 January for a two week stay, but has
now been again delayed to start 1 February. QSL RTTY contacts to
PS7KM.
