  9. o Remove Antenna and Battery.
  10. o Remove four screws on bottom holding battery track.
  11. o Remove the four (black) screws holding rear case.
  12. o Slowly... open the front cover from tranceiver and lay both halves on table.
  13. o Note positioning of white paper insulator in right half of radio and lift out
  14.   (don't throw away)
  15. o Carefully locate Jumper Pad 13 and remove solder.
  16. o Re-install white paper insulator, make sure ground tab slides through the
  17.   paper insulator.
  18. o Close radio back up (Careful not to pinch the ribbon cable near lithium
  19.   battery when closing halves).
  20. o Re-install the four (black) screws holding rear case.
  21. o Re-install the four (small silver) screws on bottom holding battery track to
  22.   radio body.
  23. o Attach Antenna and Battery.
  24. o Turn off Radio.... Press and hold both arrow keys while turning on the Radio.
  25. o Modification Complete.

  53. In addition to the published receive expansion, it also receives 800-950 MHz...
  54. trunking radio, cell phone (I would *never* listen to that), 33cm ham band...
