  7. To All Radio Amateurs

  9. Conditions have been severely disturbed since February 6 due to a
  10. flare a few days prior.  Recurring coronal holes are keeping the
  11. geomagnetic field jumping, and this may continue for a few more
  12. days.  HF propagation has been disrupted, and this may not quiet
  13. down until after mid-month.

  15. Solar flux is rising, and should peak near 120 around February 22.
  16. Flux will probably remain above 100 until March 6.

  18. Sunspot Numbers from February 3 through 9 were 62, 75, 76, 71, 72,
  19. 85 and 64, with a mean of 72.1.  10.7 cm flux was 97.9, 95.3, 93,
  20. 95, 95.9, 95 and 101, with a mean of 96.2.
  21.  
  22. The path projection for this week is from Dallas, Texas to Tonga.
  23. This is for February 15, assuming a flux of 105.

  25. 80 meters looks good from 0600z to 1330z, and 40 meters from 0530z
  26. to 1400z.  30 meters should open from 0530z to 1500z and 20 meters
  27. from 0400z to 1030z, with a possible additional opening around
  28. 1430z.  17 meters should be good from 1730z to 0200z, and 15 meters
  29. from 1800z to 0030z. 12 meters should be open from 1900z to 0000z,
  30. and 10 meters from 2000z to 2300z.
