Notes:
Out of the type F28 Netherlands Aircraft Company Fokker developped the
F100 series. Slightly larger and in many details modernised including
new cockpit. On 30th November 1986 the aircraft taked off for the
first flight. Swissair which worked very close together with Fokker
in the development flew as first company the F100. Unforeseen difi-
culties delayed deliveries to the Swiss carrier. Finally the F100
showed up as a very oeconomical aircraft which is today flown by
many companies all over the world. Late 1993 the programm of a smaller
sister - the F70 - was launched.
The "Deutsche BA" or "Deutsche British Airways" is a daughter company
from - who can imagine ? - yes, you are right, British Airways. The com-
pany was founded to get acces to some routings and landing-rights out
of Germany. After hard discussions with the Munich Airport it was de-
cided to change Deutsche BA heading office from Friedrichshafen to
Munich. Deutsche BA has now 9 Saab 340B, 7 Boeing B737-300 and new
3 Fokker F100 (formerly flown by TAT European Airlines) in service.
It is planed to launch long-distance flights with B767-300ER in the
future. British Airways plans to connect in this 1st non-UK based hub
flights from parteners Quantas and US-Air too.
This aircraft is not for multiplayer use.
