The Due Process of Law or Equal Protection Clause
Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S.Constitution
No State shall...deprive any person of life, liberty, or
property, without due process of law, nor deny any person
within... equal protection of the laws.
The Necessary and Proper Clause
Article I, Section 8 clause 18 of the U.S. Constitution
... To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for
carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other
powers vested by the Constitution in the government of the United
States, or in any department or officer thereof.
The Oath of Affirmation (The President)
Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution
Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the
following <« oath or affirmation »>: "I do solemnly swear
(or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of
president of the United States, and will to the best of my
ability, preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the
