1. Getting BTS-Equalizer started.
To see the disk files, put the disk into drive A: and
enter: DIR A: If you see files GO, NP and EQ, the
disk is ready to run. If you do not see these files,
they are in a virus-free backup or install file ending
with .EXE or .ZIP that needs to be extracted.
NPBT19.EXE is a self-extracting backup or install file.
NPBT19.ZIP requires PKUNZIP 2.04g to extract.
Copy to a master disk: COPY A:NPBT19.EXE B:
On a 360K, 5.25 inch, two disk system, put the master
copy into drive A: and enter NPBT19 B: to expand the
files onto a disk in drive B: When a disk full warning
occurs, enter NPBT19 B: *.IQF and NPBT19 B: *.DMO
to expand the last files onto a second disk.
On a 720K disk, enter NPBT19 to expand and use the
working copy. In either case a message will appear:
"Authentic files Verified! # XLI488 NINE-PATCH
SOFTWARE". You now have a good working copy to use.
An output drive and path can also be given when
expanding. Enter NPBT19 C:EQUAL\ (as an example).
The subdirectory C:\EQUAL must exist for this to work.
