Please read the accompanying document files, especially
PACKING.LST, WARRANTY.DOC, and LICENSE.DOC, for information on
what files should be included and on warranty and license

Other files give you important information about shareware in
general, other ProDomus programs, requirements for vendors and
bulletin board operators, and the history of this program.
All ProDomus shareware programs provide for a 30 day trial period
and 90 days free support if registered. If you wish to become
familiar with the many benefits of shareware, please read the
SHR-WARE.DOC file.
As stated in the license document, a license must be purchased

Public Software Library or CompuServe. See REGISTER.DOC for
details.
LOADING THE PROGRAM AND INITIAL SET UP
Install Program. If you are installing ProAct from a floppy
disk, put the appropriate in drive and type [Drive
Letter]:INSTALL. If you are installing from archived files
(files ending in .ZIP, LZH), first dearchive the files, and then
type install.
Installation Subdirectory. You will be prompted as to where you
would like to install this program on your hard drive. If you
have dearchived the files on your hard drive, you should install
to the same subdirectory.
CONFIG.SYS File. You will also be asked if you would like to
modify your CONFIG.SYS file. This must include lines with the
following minimums:
FILES=75
BUFFERS=20
Setup Program. When the installation program is finished, it will
automatically run a "Set Up" program (SETUP.BAT). This creates a
file to run ProAct that reflects the version of DOS on your
machine. Because DOS 6.n handles memory differently from earlier
versions, the program must be limited to conventional memory. If
you get an error on program startup saying "Error in Extended or
Expanded Memory", then select the DOS 6.n set up option. If you
are running third party memory managers, you might try the DOS
5.n option first. SETUP may be run from the DOS prompt at any
time.
Running the Program. To run the program from the DOS prompt,
change to the program directory and type PROACT. This will run
the main program file which is called PA.bat. Typically this
will be done as follows:
C:\>CD \PROACT
C:\PROACT>PA
