Welcome to the "Sales Forecast" program !!
"HAVE YOUR SALES FORECAST ON MY DESK BY THE THIRD WORKING DAY ... "
How many times have you heard this ???
Having spent 20 plus years in professional sales, I beleive that today's
sales professional deserves an MS Windows based program that is fun to
use when providing forecast data to management. My experiences have
proven that top down forecasting systems (i.e., Management demands the
data in their format and for their purposes) simply impose undesired
work on me. These systems do not deliver any benefits to me and are
certainly NOT fun to use.
I have thus developed (my opinion) an intuitive, fun-to-use program for
creating and maintaining one's sales forecast. Please play with it free
of charge (no warrantee, no support -- use it at your own risk).
My strategy is for sales representatives to use the program as a
productive tool for maintaining their sales forecasts, while finding
it beneficial to their selling efforts.
If you find it beneficial, please share it with a fellow sales rep
and your joint efforts may convince sales management to consider
the program as an acceptable vehicle for gathering sales forecast
records and preparing consolidated views of the data.
Let's create a BOTTOM-UP forecasting system that is beneficial to the
individual sales representative ... that also offers a means of
providing sales forecast data to management! Let's have fun doing our
forecast and supply the data "TO management" so that they can generate
their reports using "OUR" data .... not theirs.
Thanks for helping me obtain your opinion on the value of this program.
I want to know if there is a market need that can be served by use of
a "Sales Forecast" program like this.
Your feedback on this program will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Steve Jamison
