*** Dispatcher v1.0 (DISP1.EXE) ***
REQUIREMENTS:
DISP1.EXE should not require more than 640K of RAM, a
color monitor and appropriate disk-space for data files
which will vary in size depending on your use. A mouse
is recommended but not needed.
Although Dispatcher is a DOS program, it can easily be
run from within MS-Windows, and even 'installed' as an
Icon. A small file called DISP.EXE accomplishes this
assuming you have Windows 3.X and sufficient memory.
NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE VBRUN200.DLL in order to run in the
Windows environment. If VBRUN200.DLL was NOT with the
program, please let us know. VBRUN200.DLL must be placed
in your WINDOWS directory, or whatever directory your
WINDOWS files are in.
DESCRIPTION:
Dispatcher is a program specifically written for Air Freight
or Courier companies. It will create and maintain a client
database from your input, create job-data files for each day
in which you input your job data, do completely automated
billing of your clients including printing of invoices and
envelopes, create reports of various types, trace jobs for you
based on a wide variety of search criterion and generally take
care of everything from dispatching to keeping track of
directly related expenses.
It has a 'windows-like' interface with pop-up windows many
of which can be resized, moved, etc. On-Line help from various
areas, which may also be printed, many 'error-detection'
routines to prevent you from inputting bad data, etc.

INSTALLATION:
An installation program has been included (INSTY.EXE) which
will create a directory for you, and offer you the option
to install for Windows use as well. If you expect to use the
program from within the Windows environment, choose "Y" when
asked about installing for Windows and the file VBRUN200.DLL
will then be installed in the directory you specify...it
MUST be in the directory where you have your WINDOWS program.
The file INSTYSET.CFG is the setup file for INSTY. It must
be present with the INSTY.EXE program or INSTY will abort.
To run INSTY, from the DOS prompt, (when logged onto the drive
and directory where INSTY.EXE and INSTY.CFG are) type
INSTY + [ENTER].
The installation also checks for all files, for valid drive
and directory names, etc., and will advise you if there is
a problem.
To start DISPATCHER, from DOS type DISP1 + [ENTER].
