  4. Well, welcome to Z-Rom Beta test. This IS a Beta Test and, as such, I wanted 
  5. to write a few lines about certain subjects.

  8. Z-Rom and file ratios...
  9. ========================

  11. I don't use file ratios on my board. So, I have not checked the Ratio setup as
  12. good as the Point system setup. If you have problems with this, let me know. I
  13. will also be changing the User Statistics screen to display file ratios if they
  14. are enabled on the BBS...

  16. Z-Rom and 2400baud modems...

  19. I have had problems with my 2400bps modem (on node 2 of my bbs) when in the 
  20. door. It took me a while but, I found that I had to UNLOCK the baud rate and
  21. set it to 2400bps. I also had to turn OFF hardware handshaking.

  23. Z-Rom and OS/2...

  26. Sorry goes out to all of you OS/2 users. I know NOTHING about OS/2 and, there-
  27. fore, cannot test it under the OS/2 platform. If you have an OS/2 setup, please
  28. let me know if it does/does not work. I have a sysop testing it out now.

  33. No testing at all has been done under desqview or windows. Since I have my VBBS
  34. setup under NetWare lite, I do not have the facilities to check anything other
  35. than that.

  37. Z-Rom & Lantastic/NetWare Lite...

  40. I have tested the door under both Lantastic and NetWare lite. They both seem to
  41. work well.

  46. To report a bug in the door, simply write me E-MAIL with a description of the
  47. problem and any other info you can supply. The bug fix releases will be out in
  48. a timely fashion. I am planning on releasing a bugfix version on Saturday -
  49. November 20. So, you should have your bug reports in by friday morning.

  58. I want this program to grow into the VBBS standard CD-Rom door. I feel that it
  59. has the potential to do that. I do however, need to stress the importance of 
  60. bug reports. I welcome ALL comments/complaints and (Especially) suggestions.
  61. Z-Rom will grow at a pace in which it's users set.
