  91. PAROLE Software.  This document contains only a brief description of the
  92. package and its features, along with instructions for its installation.
  93. Quite detailed documentation is included in the package, but it is in
  94. archived form, and is more easily read after installation.

  96. OLR is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes most
  97. features of the program, and is not crippled beyond use.  You may use it
  98. for up to 30 days, without charge (see SYSOP.DOC for more details).  If
  99. you like the program, and wish to continue its use after this evaluation
  100. period, you are required to pay for the program (see REGISTER.TXT for
  101. more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others (disk vendors,
  102. dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a fee for their

  132. The installation procedure for OLR is quite simple.  The package
  133. includes a program, "INSTALL.BAT", which automates most of the process.
  134. You will need about 500k of available disk space on the hard drive on
  135. which you plan to install OLR.

  137. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  138.  
  139. If you downloaded OLR from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  140. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  141. following steps.
  142.  
  143.    o  Create a directory to hold the contents of the OLR-xx.xxx archive.
  144.  
  145.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in the door directory
  146.       on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this varies,
  147.       depending on the form in which you received the package. In all
  148.       likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means that you
  149.       already have the necessary tools and knowledge to perform this
  150.       step.  If not, you should be able to obtain directions for this
  151.       from the same source from which you received the package.
  152.  
  153.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.BAT" program which you have extracted.  For
  154.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  155.       the OLR package is C:\DOOR\OLR, you would execute the MS-DOS
  156.       command, "c:\DOOR\OLR\install".

  158.    o  Make sure that you edit the CFG file(s) to suit your particular
  159.       BBS software.

  164. Once you've complete the installation, you should consult the documents
  165. (filename extension "doc") which have been installed.  In particular,
  166. read at least the "Overview" and "Quick Start" sections of the file
  167. "SYSOP.MAN".  That document will tell you how to invoke the program, and
  168. will give you other information you need to properly evaluate OLR.  We
  169. hope you enjoy the program.
