[v2.3] Past problems with large values in the Door.Sys or other System
Files (Drop Files) generating an OVERLOW (Error 6) error, have
been resolved.
When the Door displays the opening screen, it asks if you want
instructions and you are forced to enter a Y or N. This was
installed to handle problems encountered when using Digiboards.
With this release you can choose whether you want to force a
y/n OR if you want to use the y/N format which allows the
player to press ENTER for the default N. You must update your
CFG file, see DOC file.
06/19/93
[v2.2] Removed delay at start of game
Added support for the PCBoard /M version !
03/12/93
[v2.1] Now supports Comm Ports 0-15
Callers will be required to answer the "Want Instructions.."
question with a Y or N. This was required to circumvent a
problem encountered when running under WildCat's IM version.
02/01/93
[v2.0] The "/" option was not displaying the callers input.
It was accepting it though but was displaying it with
a BLACK color.
I neglected to correct the HiScore Bulletin display in the
last release. Only the first player's score was being shown.
01/26/93
[v1.9] Hiscore file was only displaying one player.
If player quit the game, his/her score was being
calulated and added to the Hiscore file.
When callers choose the "/" option to solve the puzzle,
they will now be asked for the solution rather than them
having to insert each letter as was the previous method.
12/24/92
[v1.8] BRUN45.EXE is no longer required!
Added support for Fossil-based Multi-Port cards!
Added support for TRIBBS software. We now access the
TRIBBS.SYS system file directly!
After a CHAT or DROP-TO-DOS the game screen will now be
restored to its original state.
New Configuration option to allow Sysop to choose whether
they want the computer to allocate 999 games to them or if
they just want to be like any other caller.
There was a problem with CRYPTO accepting puzzles with a
length of 66 characters, as defined in the DOCs. The DOCS
were correct, but the program would only accept a maximum
of 60 characters. Program changed to accept a max of 66.
06/15/92
[v1.7] New CRYPEVNT.EXE file to correct a problem it had in recognizing
a registered version of CRYPTO. This only affected those that
run GT Power AND use GTUSER.BBS on the first line of the
configuration file.
Made some changes to fix the TIMEOUT errors encountered
when usinga 486 with/without DesqView. Need feedback !!
Made some changes to correct the Error #6 (Overflow Error)
when using SpitFire version 3.2/SFDOORS.DAT. I need some
feedback on this one as well!
Added support for GT Power's GTUSER.BBS file. To use this
you will be required to add to lines to your configuration
files. Please see Docs for changes. Need some feedback on
this as well!
06/14/92
[v1.6] You can now use an environmental variable for Non-Standard
IRQs. This will eliminate the need to have multiple batch
files to execute the door. See DOCs under NON-STANDARD COM
SUPPORT for details.
You can now use environmental variables, on the first line
of the configuration file. This will eliminate the requirement
that you create an individual configuration file for each node
in a multinode environment (ONE config file for ALL nodes!!).
See DOCs under MULTI-NODE SETUP for details.
Call time left would not print under certain circmstances.
12/29/91
[v1.5] Added an option to control when you DO NOT want the DOOR
to be used. Allows for 5 Blackout periods. This requires
a configuration file change. SEE DOCS for DETAILS!
11/02/91
[v1.4] Error #5 when caller's time remaining greater then 99

based upon the user's security level. This requires a
