~* About Tri-Bingo *
~Tri-Bingo is based on the game of Bingo that is played by thousands of people
all over the country for fun and profit. Although you won't get rich, I hope
Tri-Bingo proves to be very enjoyable.
~You play against 10 pseudo but highly expert Bingo players who hate to lose.
They will do anything to win, including blowing smoke in your eyes so you
don't see a number to calling BINGO when they don't really have one. So stay
alert!
~If you are playing for the first time or spent all your money last time, you
will be given $25.00 to start with. Cards cost $3.00 each for the regular
games and $10.00 each for the special games.
~You start out by choosing the game you wish to play. The games available are
shown on the Game Menu and show the Regular and Special Play games.
Each of these has the option of Regular Play or Special Play. Regular Play
is just like the traditional games while Special Play gives the chance of a
bonus.
~* The Games *
~Regular Play
~1. 5 In-A-Row Bingo: The object of 5 In-A-Row Bingo is to black out 5
squares in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
~2. Postage Stamp Bingo: In Postage Stamp Bingo you try to black out the 4
numbers of each corner.
~3. Black Out Bingo: In Black Out Bingo you must black out all the squares on a
card.
~4. X Bingo: Try to get 5 in a row along the two diagonal rows to form a Cross.
~5. Zig-Zag: For Zig-Zag you must black out 3 rows in a zig-zag design. The
types would look like a Z and a backwards Z. Either of these would
be a bingo.
~6. T Bingo: Black out the numbers that form a T on your card. The top row
across and the middle row down.
~7. Random Choice Bingo: This option will choose at random one of the games
listed above.
~Special Play
~There are currently two Special Play Games. They are:
~1. Power Bingo: Played like the regular 5 In-A-Row game but with a twist.
A Bingo Number is rolled before the game is started. This is the Power
Number. If during the game the Power Number is drawn and you can play it on
one or more cards you will win a bonus. If you get a BINGO and one of the
numbers of your BINGO is the Power Number you will win double the JackPot.
The number to the right of the game name in < > is the Power Number.
~2. Progressive Bingo: Played like Black Out Bingo but with the added feature
where the numbers called start at 45 on the first day of the month and one
number is added each day until there is a winner. There will be at least
one winner per month this way. Each time someone plays but there is no
winner $100.00 will be added to the JackPot. Also, in this game the
player only plays against other human players. The Psuedo computer players
do not get to play in this game.
~* Movement Keys *
~Below is a description of available keys and what they do:
~'2/4/6/8' = Move cursor to black out number.
'B' = Call BINGO!
Space Bar or 7 key will call the next number.
'H' = Display this help file.
'D' = Quit Game.
'R' = Redraw Screen. In case of line noise.
'M' = Mark a number that has been called.
'S' = Show who else is playing Tri-Bingo (Multi-Node BBS Only)
'T' = Toggle the Color that is used to Mark the Numbers
'N' = Toggle the Color of the UnMarked Numbers
~Additional Information
~If you miss marking a number you can go back and mark it at anytime during
the game.
~If there is a Tie BINGO the winners will split the JackPot. (not active yet)
~If one of the other players calls a BINGO and does not really have one, the
game will continue (or if you call a Bingo by mistake).
~If you miss a BINGO because you were distracted or smoke got in your eyes and
the game has been declared over you are out of luck. (I warned you about those
other players!)
~The number in the right corner of the called number box shows how many numbers
have been called. In Progressive Bingo the numbers will count in reverse order
to show you how many calls are left before the end of the game.
