┌─── RealTime Prochess ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ The RealTime option allows a player on line 1 of the bbs to play an online │
│ chess game against another player on line 2. There is no limitation to │
│ the number of bbs lines: A player on line 17 may play someone on line 66. │
│ On top of the screen all running RealTime games are listed with their │
│ number and status. The status indicates whether a game needs a second │
│ player ('Joe Sysop is waiting for second player'), is being played ('Game │
│ in progress') or has been finished ('Game over'). │
│ You may enter a game which is waiting for a second player by entering the │
│ game number. Joining games in progress is only allowed if you are already │
│ involved in that game. Playing several games simultaneously is possible. │
│ The other menu options are: │
│ (N)ew - Start new game with white pieces. Other players will see the new │
│ game in their RealTime game list and may enter at any time. The │
│ second player has always the black pieces. │
│ (O)ld - If you have been playing a 'normal' (Non-RealTime) game for some │
│ time and you know that your opponent is online on another line of │
│ the bbs, you may turn the game into a RealTime game using the │
│ O)ld option. Of course you should inform your partner by sending │
│ him an online message inside the bbs. │
└ (Q)uit - Quit the RealTime menu and return to the ProChess main menu. ─────┘
