FOSSIL
/*-----------------------------------------------------------------/*
The above is setup for FOSSIL port 1 (COM2) locked at 19,200 bps.
/*-----------------------------------------------------------------/*
Line
1 PATH\FILENAME of DORINFOx.DEF or long DOOR.SYS
2 PATH\ of Doorgame datafile subdirectory
3 Locked port speed or ZERO
4 Non-Standard IRQ in NON-FOSSIL mode, FOSSIL PORT NUMBER in
FOSSIL MODE
5 F or N for FOSSIL or NON-FOSSIL mode.
Invoke the door (from any directory) and pass the path\filename of THIS
FILE as a command line paramater. Example: DOOR1.CFG for node 1,
DOOR2.CFG for node 2, etc.
Line 4 is especially important! In FOSSIL MODE, line 4 is the FOSSIL
PORT number. Usually, PORT 0 is COM1, PORT 1 is COM2, PORT 2 is COM3,
etc. Even if you have not remapped your ports, however, the PORT NUMBER
for THIS node *MUST* be specified on line 4!
In Non-Fossil mode, Line 4 is the IRQ (or 0 for non-standard IRQ).
Since the COMM-routines will not chain interrupts, it may be necessary
to operate in FOSSIL mode when using non-standard IRQ's!
FROM THE DOOR SUBDIRECTORY, invoke the door with the /S command line
parameter. Respond to the prompted questions and the door will create
the DOORx.CFG file *FOR* you!
