ocr: ARCHAEOPTERIX Archacopteryx, the earliest known bird, is believed to have lived150 million years ago. This IS a cast ofa a fossil discovered in southern Germany in 1861. The fossil shows that the animal had many features in O111111011 with reptiles, such as sharp teeth anda a long tail bone.
