Transcription: Birds are the only animals with feathers. Most birds are highly adapted for flight by having a streamlined body and strong chest muscles that move the two wings. To reduce their weight, birds have hollow bones. Birds are endothermic vertebrates and they all lay eggs. Some birds such as penguins cannot fly, but they are superb swimmers. Different birds are adapted to their different habitats and lifestyles. A duck, for example, has a flat bill for sieving food from water, waterproof feathers and webbed feet for swimming.
