HOLLOW FRILL Although it looked like solid bone, the neck frill actually had large spaces between the bones; these spaces were covered in tough skin and maybe muscle. NOSE-HORN Styracosaurus' long nose- horn was probably used for defense and display. SHARP TEETH Styracosaurus had a massive beak and jaws bearing sharp, cutting teeth.
