Labels:text | screenshot OCR: CARNEGIE QUARRY E ARL DOUGLASS (1862-1931) was employed by the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to hunt for dinosaur bones. He was on a field trip in Utah in 1908 when he found a Diplodocus leg bone sticking out of the rock at the bottom of a ravine. Douglass had stumbled upon one of the richest Jurassic fossil sites ever discovered. It was to become known as the Carnegie Quarry.
