OCR: FIRST HORNED DINOSAUR SKULL OHN BELL HATCHER (1861-1904), a U.S. fossil collector, worked for U.S. dinosaur expert Othniel Marsh (1831-99). In 1888, Hatcher made the first discovery of a horned dinosaur in Wyoming. The skull was extremely heavy, and Marsh gave it the name Triceratops horridus, which means "terrifying three-horned face."
