An American Museum of Natural History expedition from the United States came upon the eggs at a site called the Flaming Cliffs of Shabarakh Usu. Beside the eggs were bones of Protoceratops, but we now know that they were laid by Oviraptor, a different dinosaur built like a bird with clawed fingers.
