  49. These CCD antennas appear to offer little beyond novelty value.  This antenna,
  50. which is claimed to offer 5-7 dBd gain, exhibits less gain than the same length
  51. of wire without the capacitors.  The easiest way to obtain more gain from a one
  52. wavelength wire is to extend it to 1.28 wavelengths, forming an extended double
  53. Zepp with about 2.8 dBd gain.
