If you've seen it once, you've seen it on every system. Now thanks to Taito, Dragon's Lair is coming to the Sega Genesis. Even though the gameplay is not the same as the arcade, it still has the same basic plot. There are 32 stages to complete, and it's for one or two players.
With this year's hit movie, the Flintstones, Taito's new game The Flintstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock comes just in time. You play either Fred or Barney in an adventure to find an elusive treasure, so that you may become the grand Poobah. The Flintstones has over 70 stages of adventure, with the ability to play two players simultaneously.
The Jetsons: Invasion of the Planet Pirates, by Taito is an action adventure title based on, of course, the cartoon series. In the Jetsons, you play George Jetson, who must save the world from invading space pirates. There are five worlds and 20 stages of great animation and gameplay to keep you tuned into your Super Nintendo.
Lufia & The Fortress of Doom is about to be released for the Sega Genesis by Taito. This latest role-playing game for the Genesis has been made for the beginner to intermediate player in mind. With over 165 different monsters, 225 power items, 55 spells, and over 70 scenarios to battle through, Lufia & the Fortress of Doom should be attractive to any skill player.
Rainbow Islands by Taito is a game directed at small children. Somewhat reminiscent of Bubble Bobble, Rainbow island is a simple game, with six islands to explore, each having four stages. Rainbow Islands may not have blood and gore, but it looks like a good children's game.
In this the year of the soccer ball, with the World Cup having visited the United States, there has been an influx of soccer games. Super Soccer Champ 2 by Taito will be released soon. Though Soccer Champ 2 is not licensed by FIFA, it does have 24 international teams to choose from, and can be played with four players at the same time using the Super Nintendo Multi Tap.
Sonic Blastman 2 by Taito is the long awaited sequel to the original hit, Sonic Blastman. With two player simultaneous action, and three characters to choose from, Sonic Blastman 2 looks like it will be the sequel everyone's been waiting for.
