OCR: Installation with Autorun 1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM Drive. The CD will start *automatically. 2. The opening screen will give you three choices. Select "Register Now" to register 100,000 clip art online. Select "Start" to begin the program. Select "Visit our Web Site" to see our other great products. 3. Once you have selected "Start" the installation process will begin. Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation. 4. After the installation is completed you may need to restart your computer. *NOTE: If the CD does not automatically install double click "My Computer" then double click the CD ROM drive. Then follow the above directions starting with number 2. Using 100,000 Clip Art Getting started with the 100,000 Designer Clip Art is simple. To start the program, click on the "Start" button on your Windows Taskbar, choose "Programs", Choose the "Global Star software" group, then select Graphic View 32. *NOTE: CD must be in the CD ROM drive to view the clip art. Using Graphic View 32 to View Clip Art Images Once you have opened Graphic View32 you will see a screen divided into two sections. On the left side you will see the files on your hard drive plus your CD ROM drive. Double Click on the CD ROM drive and you will see a folder called images. Double click the "Images" folder. The contents of the folder you have selected will now be broken down into categories. Select a category and double click on the folder. You will see the category images on the right side. When you see an image that you like you can click on it to see a larger preview at the bottom left of your screen. If you double click on the image a detailed view window will show the image in a larger format. Detailed View Window Once you have found an image you would like to use simply double click it and the Detailed View window will appear. There are several short cut buttons in this screen as well as a menu bar which will allow you to do the following: Printing: Select the print icon and the image will be printed. Zoom: To zoom in on the image select the magnifying glass Using Clip Art in other programs The Clip art images can be used in several other applications. When you see an image you would like to use copy it to your hard drive. You may wish to create a folder to save your image files in. 1. In the Graphic View 32 window Click the image you wish to use. 2. Click edit then copy from the menu bar (you can copy the images either from the Graphic View 32 window or the Detailed View window). 3. Double click the folder (on your hard drive) where you wish to save the graphic. 4. Once you have the folder open click edit then paste. 5. After the image has been pasted you will see the image in the folder. The image is now saved in the folder.
