Apoll's twin sister, daughter of Zeus and Leto. She was the goddess of hunting. She never got married. She was depicted as a tall, slender girl, with gathered hair wearing a short dress, she is armed with bow and arrows, accompanied by a deer and a dog. Her arrows could cause or cure diseases, similar to Apoll's arrows. She was personified by the Moon.
