  14. Writer's Heaven is a customization program that transforms the popular word
  15. processing program PC-Write into the fastest and most efficient editing tool
  16. today.  Most word processing programs are designed by programmers for
  17. secretaries, and require memorization of a lot of different key sequences to
  18. perform editing commands. Writer's Heaven, using PC-Write's own macro feature,
  19. grafts onto PC-Write a unique keyboard command structure. The result is a word
  20. processor that combines speed, power, simplicity, and ease of learning--a word
  21. processor that brings on-screen editing significantly closer to the speed of
  22. thought.  What Writer's heaven does is that it redefines the PC-Write control
  23. file, thus adding its own set of commands while leaving most of the principal
  24. PC-Write command keys intact as an alternate command set. Like any other PC-
  25. Write control file, Writer's Heaven can be modified by the user.  All Writer's
  26. Heaven commands are executed on the main portion of the keyboard, using only
  27. the typewriter keys with the keys "Ctrl" and "Alt."  No command requires
  28. moving either hand away from its place on the keyboard, which allows for quick
  29. typing and easy editing execution.  Without leaving your hands from the
  30. typewriter position, one can move the cursor by space or by word, go to the
  31. left margin or end of text, move the cursor by paragraph, go forward and back
  32. by sentences, scroll the screen up and down, go to the beginning and end of
  33. the document, perform marking and block operations, perform swap and
  34. transposition functions, reformat the text, plus much more.  In addition,
  35. Writer's Heaven has a reverse video for better viewing, but this can be
  36. changed if desired.  The documentation states that this will work on a
  37. monochrome or single-color CRT moniter, but it also works with an EGA moniter.
  38. Writer's heaven requires the program PC-Write version 2.6 or 2.7, and may work
  39. on later versions but will not work on earlier versions.  Writer's heaven also
  40. provides a help screen that can be grafted on to the regular PC-Write help
  41. file, but all the keys are logically placed and easy to learn for any user.
