  1. BULLETIN BOARD README FILE

  3. This Bulletin Board Program is a modification to the bulletin.prg that
  4. was posted to the Nantucket Forum.  I have revised it to work on our
  5. Novell Network.   The program will search the current directory for
  6. files with a "txt" suffix.  The *.txt files are ordered by Date (most
  7. recent on top), this is so the End-Users can find the latest bulletin
  8. first.

  11. The application is compiled using Clipper 5.01. No particular switches
  12. are used.  Although very simple, this program is very important to us.
  13. I hope other Network Administrators can use this system as well.  The
  14. Application is in the public domain, so you use it at your own risk.

  17. How we set it up:

  19.     SYS4:\SUB-DIRECTORY\APPLICATION\BULLETINS.EXE     FLAG "SRO"
  20.     SYS5:\SUB-DIRECTORY\BULLETIN\*.TXT Files          FLAG "SRO"

  22. Every week the System Administrator creates a new bulletin and copies
  23. it to the SYS5:\SUB-DIRECTORY\BULLETIN\*.txt Sub-Directory.

  25. PLEASE NOTE: Your bulletin files must have a "txt" suffix.
