  1. MacSEE 3.2
  2. ==========

  4.   MacSEE 3.2 is a powerful utility that allows a standard PC to read/write
  5. Macintosh disks. This include 3.5" high density Macintosh disks, CD-ROMs, and
  6. Macintosh formatted hard drives (e.g. SyQuest removables). MacSEE gives
  7. access to the complete Macintosh file system...the included DOS and
  8. Windows versions only allows transfer of small files and the Get Info
  9. options to function... The full version allows for rename, delete, make/
  10. delete folders, and formatting of 3.5" high density disks.

  12. (Note: MacSEE can not read low density Mac disks. We have received many
  13. calls regarding this. It's not possible to read low density Mac disks
  14. without additional hardware. Sorry!)

  16. Translation Modes
  17. =================
  18.  
  19.   The MacSEE 'Data File' translation mode replaces the numerous file
  20. types that were listed in version 3.1. MacSEE now automatically detects
  21. file types and uses the appropriate translation mode. Over 20 modes are
  22. currently supported including EPS, TIFF, GIF, JPEG, Photoshop, Excel,
  23. and MS Word...

  25. Bug Fixes
  26. =========
  27.   A bug with Windows ASPI support is now fixed (this was only in the
  28. MacSEE 3.1 demo). An incompatibility with reading some Mac CDs is now 
  29. fixed (many thanks to the individual that supplied us with his CD for
  30. testing!). On-line help and microhelp have been added to the Windows version
  31. (Note: The complete help file has been included...it has not been
  32. stripped down for the shareware version). Some file system problems have
  33. been corrected, and MacSEE is now fully System 7 compatible.

  35. Other Notes
  36. ===========
  37.   We're positive that MacSEE is the BEST way to get files from a Macintosh
  38. to a PC. Version 3.2 offers complete compatibility with System 7 and
  39. many additional features that 3.1 did not offer. Owners of previous versions
  40. can upgrade to version 3.2 at the following rates:

  43.   MacSEE 3.0           - $15.00
  44.   MacSEE 3.1           - $10.00

  46. We are sending upgrade notices out so please wait for this to arrive or send
  47. your MacSEE disk in with order. Those purchasing MacSEE 3.2 since 11/1/93
  48. will receive version 3.2 automatically.
