DOX/DOCUMENTATION/WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT -
Well, I whipped this program off in less than half an hour. What
it basically does is this: Deletes all files in the directory without
asking for confirmation. Quicker, easier, and better looking than typing
in "del *.*", then "y", then ENTER. Just type WIPE, and it takes care of
it for you! This is freeware; I wrote it for my own personal needs and use,
but it came out so nicely that I decided to release it under Nor'Easter
Software's label. Enjoy!
NOR'EASTER SOFTWARE IS -
Midget - (Lucas Ives)
The "O" - (Theo Van Dinter)
Timex - (William Smith)
07/15/93, 6:00 p.m. - Begun writing WIPE.EXE
07/15/93, 6:31 p.m. - Finished writing WIPE.EXE
09/27/93, 9:56 p.m. - Totally messed with Lucas's program. Now bypasses
DOS's "Del *.*" command by using my new search and
destroy routine. Basically searches current
directory for "*.*", when it finds a file fitting
it (funny how they all seem to...), it deletes it.
(Basically fixes a small problem if the directory
is full. The program won't stall anymore.) - TVD
The program will also check itself (simply) to make sure the program wasn't
changed by an "outside force." If it was, you will be notified that the
program was changed, and where to get another copy of it (via modem).
