  1. This disk contains the following programs/data:

  3.                 * CONFIG.EXE  (Creates Configuration File For GLM & LIB)
  4.                 * GLM.EXE     (The Graphics Label Machine)
  5.                 * LOGOS.SDR   (Name File For PrintMaster Graphics Library)
  6.                 * LOGOS.SHP   (Graphics File For PrintMaster Graphics Library)

  10.                               - CONFIG -
  11.  
  12. This program creates the configuration file used by The Graphics Label Machine.
  13.  
  14. If the program does not print correctly, run this program and enter the
  15. appropriate responses to the prompts.  When seting up the spacing for 7/72" -
  16. for many epson printers it should be set to "27 65 07" - for other epsons (and
  17. most Star printers set it to "27 65 08". IBM Compatible printers (including
  18. many printers that have IBM modes) will probably require an additional setting
  19. of "27 50" - For those printers the correct setting should be "27 65 08 27 50".
  20. The number of lines should normally be set to "1". The program can be set up to
  21. print on different size labels by changing the line spacing.

  23. *Refer to your printer manual if the above settings do not work on your printer.
  24. You might have to experiment a little to find the best settings for your
  25. particular printer.

  29.                         - Graphics Label Machine -
  30.  
  31. This program prints labels with graphic images on the left side.  It can
  32. use PrintMaster, Print Shop or New Print Shop (Orig & Hi-Res) graphics.

  34. The program is menu driven and requires very little instruction or effort
  35. to run. Available menu options are displayed on the bottom of the screen.
  36.  
  37. If the default configuration does not work with your printer - run CONFIG.EXE
  38. to delete the configuration file and create a new one designed for your printer.
  39.  
  40. When selecting a graphics library and/or when selecting a graphic image the
  41. cursor arrow keys will move from name to name. If the library or graphic
  42. image you want is not displayed, the <Page UP> key will work as a page function
  43. to select the next 12 names/images.

  45. A new feature added to Version 2.0 is the Autopilot. Using Autopilot allows you
  46. to automatically print all the labels saved within a specified directory using
  47. the current graphics displayed on the screen or using the graphics saved with
  48. the label.

  50. The program was designed with simplicity in mind. Experiment with it and you
  51. will find it fast, easy to understand and simple to use.

  55. In addition to an unrestricted version of The Graphics Label Machine, registered

  60.                               - Library -

  62. This program will print out a listing (48 images to a page) of all the
  63. graphic images in a graphics library.

  67.                               - EXPORT -
  68.  
  69. This program will convert PrintMaster/Print Shop/New Print Shop (Orig & Hi-Res)
  70. to either PaintBrush (PCX), First Publisher Art (ART) or GEM (IMG) format. The
  71. program allows you to view the various PrintMaster/PrintShop libraries, picture
  72. by picture, saving any or all the individual pictures in any of the above
  73. formats. (Very useful for desktop publishing).

  77.                          - Library Name Editor -

  79. This program allows the user to modify the names associated with the Graphic
  80. Libraries (PrintMaster/Print Shop/New Print Shop).  Why would you want to do
  81. that?  If you use the CBM2IBM utility to convert Commodore graphics to
  82. IBM Graphic Libraries, the names will probably be garbage. (Because Commodore
  83. file names are longer than IBM file names and the Commodore graphics names are
  84. the disk file names - therefore, when they are converted over - well, it's a
  85. mess.) The Library name editor will help you fix them.  Also, you can change
  86. Graphic Library just because you want to.

  92. This program will convert Print Shop libraries to Print Master Libraries and
  93. vice versa.  It also converts New Print Shop Libraries to  Print Shop or Print
  94. Master Libraries.

  100. This program converts Commodore 64/128 graphics to IBM PrintMaster Library
  101. format.
