  3. If I'm understanding the circuit correctly, it appears that the control
  4. signals which come out of the '139s need to be inverted before they can
  5. trigger the '374s. This could easily be done with either a 74HC00 or
  6. 74LS00 because of the HCT componentry in the rest in the rest of the
  7. circuit, by making inverters out of the NAND gates.
