  3. stereo .WAV files to a compressed format  
  4. 1/4th the original size. The Decoder is   
  5. used to restore the compressed file back to
  6. it's original format. Although this is a
  7. "lossy" algorithm, you will probably not
  8. be able to hear any difference.
