  3.      GIFLITE is NOT FREE. You MUST REGISTER after the 15-day
  4.      evaluation time period.

  6.      GIFLITE is a Shareware product. It is distributed through
  7.      public access channels so that perspective buyers can have the
  8.      opportunity to evaluate the product before making a decision
  9.      to buy. If you decide to use this software, then you are under
  10.      both legal and moral obligation to register it with the
  11.      author. But if you decide not to use it after evaluating the
  12.      software, you are under no obligation. It is fully protected
  13.      by State, Federal and International copyright laws.

  15.      If you continue to use GIFLITE after the 15-day evaluation
  16.      time period you must register it.

  31.      CompuServe users can register GIFLITE through the Shareware
  32.      registration service. GO SWREG and search for GIFLITE.

  34.      When you register, you will receive the program diskette of
  35.      the latest version and your registration number. Registration
  36.      entitles you continue using the current version and all future
  37.      versions. The registration number will remove any limitation
  38.      functions in the unregistered version of the current and the
  39.      FUTURE releases.

  42.  EVALUATION VERSION
  43.  
  44.      The evaluation version or the unregistered version distributed
  45.      through the Shareware channel has the following limitation:
  46.  
  47.        1. The maximum resolution of an input GIF file is 640x480.
  48.        2. The -f option (Filter out the GIFLITE header) is not
  49.           available.
  50.        3. The -h option (Do not insert GIFLITE header to output
  51.           file) is not available.

  54.      The limitation is removed in the registered version.
