QUAKE add-on level 11-6-96
=====================================================================
Title-------------------: BOXED IN
Filename----------------: boxedin.bsp
Author------------------: Brett Flannigan (aka Dagoth)
Email Address-----------: bob.flannigan@internetMCI.com
Description-------------: Deathmatch level that is a large courtyard
with 16 buildings in a 4X4 pattern. Wind
brushes in each one take you to the roof-
tops, and 4 of the buildings lead down into
a labyrinth with the best weapons, but very
tight space. There are PLENTY of weapons
spread throughout, so you shouldn't have to
use the axe. (whew, I feel much better now!)
Additional Credits to---: Jon Mavor and Jim Lowell for THRED, and,
the name you've all been waiting for...
ID!! (surely that was a great surprise)
Check out the Thred homepage at:
http://www.visi.com/~jlowell/thred

* Other Info *
In case you actually care, I am working on a single player/deathmatch
level that is a tower with a spiral staircase around the inside, and
another deathmatch-only level that is hard to describe.
PLEASE E-MAIL ME FOR ANY REASON AT ALL, I WON'T MIND.
(bob.flannigan@internetMCI.com , to Brett Flannigan)
Oh, yeah, if you were wondering, I have tried Worldcraft and many
other editors. So far, Thred is most definitely my favorite, but I
wish they would update it more often. Oh, well.
* Copyright / Permissions *
Authors MAY use this level as a base to build additional levels.
(Please e-mail me a copy of the modified version, though)
If you would like to mess with it, I have also included the
.3dt (Thred) file.
Also, for anyone wanting to do a better vis on this level, I have
included the .prt file. I tried a level 4 vis on it, but since we
only have 16 megs of ram, it didn't finish completely. If you do vis
it, please send me a copy!
This BSP may be distributed over the Internet and/or BBS systems.
You are NOT authorized to put this BSP on any CD or distribute it in
any way without my express permission (Unless you are Actura, you
can almost bet on getting my approval. Screw Actura!).
* THRED LICENSE INFORMATION *
This map was made with Thred. It is acceptable to distribute this
map over the Internet and BBS systems for free. It is not
acceptable to play this map on a commercial Internet server.
It is also not acceptable to charge for this map in any way
or charge for distribution of this map. This includes CD-ROM
collections of all kinds.
* Where to get this file *
I suppose it is possible for some numbskull to have this text file
and not the actual level, so here goes:
ftp.cdrom.com
ftp.stomped.com
and maybe a few other places. (look! even more text in parentheses!)
