  1. This file contains pwads for DOOM I and DOOM II.
  2. Some have appeared under different names (by me) in the past,
  3. so don't be surprised if 1 or 2 look familiar.
  4. I decided to upload this as 1 file for convenience sake,
  5. and to make these wads more accessible. Descriptions follow:

  18. General Notes:
  19.  
  20.      All of these pwads represent a very large time investment,
  21. but I love this stuff, so it was worth it ;). I paid particular
  22. attention to the aesthetics for these wads, not just hacked together
  23. with misaligned textures and clashing walls like so many deathmatch
  24. only wads. I also tried to make them flexible and intersting / challenging
  25. for the single player and even co-op mode. They play best in deathmatch
  26. but are no slouch in the other areas. Users of these pwads feel free
  27. to hack out weapons or such to make the game more suitable to your taste.
  28. Please leave the layout alone, unless you want to give credit to the
  29. author in work you publish. As long as you mention me, I don't mind :)
  30. (shameless plug mode on here). The DOOM2 pwads are probably what I
  31. consider my best work, and many other people like them as well, they
  32. were previously uploaded under the inauspicious names of
  33. DM2GM1,2 and 3. wad...yechh what names. In fact they landed me a job
  34. doing production level design for an upcoming new game release!
  35. Following are brief comments on the wads.

  38. chaseme.wad - Lots-o-teleporters, but centrally located around
  39.               a hexagonal center area. Some neat outer areas and other
  40.               good stuff to explore as well. This wad was rated very
  41.               highly (under the name chase.wad) in the deathmatch wad
  42.               ratings that appered on the internet.
  43.  
  44. rundown.wad - This wad is nonstop action from start to finish, a little
  45.               tricky to get around (use teleporters smartly) to the
  46.               exit, but you'll be dead before that anyway ;).

  49. snipeme.wad - Very challenging single player, some really cool rooms
  50.               and changes in environment as you go through it. Great
  51.               in deathmatch, lots-o-frags here. Kill the spider on UV
  52.               if you can even get there!.

  54. comproom.wad - I've had alot of fun with this one, but it is probably
  55.                because it is a pretty acurate representation of my
  56.                building at work, with lots of doom-stuff added for
  57.                interest. Man, work is really hell here.
  58.  
  59. frgblast.wad - A killer wad, period. Frag for hours around this wad.
  60.                Tremendous attention to look and feel. You wont be
  61.                dissapointed with this one. Extremely challenging
  62.                single player wad as well. If you can get through
  63.                this one in one shot on UV, without saving, you
  64.                are a doom grand master. The final arena room will
  65.                test your skills to the extreme.

  67. beguiled.wad - You'll say, how the hell do I get through this!!!
  68.                A spider, a Cyber, lots of other baddies. All weapons.
  69.                This can be done, just think like a sniper.
  70.                This is also a personal deathmatch favorite.

  73. runlkamf.wad - Run like a mother - f****r. Just load this up
  74.                and try it. You'll see. Best wad I have done.
  75.                Deathmatch is unreal in here.
