  1.  
  2.       The SPECIAL OPTIONS menu allows you to change your weapons
  3.       and images of yourself and of the imps.  To change your 
  4.       DOOM program with "DEHACKED" files follow these directions:

  6.  
  7.       1. Select the "DEHACKED" option you desire if the text
  8.          button lights up you may read about the program changes
  9.  
  10.       2. Click on the desired selection with your mouse button
  11.          
  12.       3. Click on install and the a change will be made to your
  13.          DOOM.exe file.  If you are using the special effects  
  14.          for the first time you may get some error messages.  
  15.          When the program asks if you want to continue enter
  16.          "Y" for yes.  These error messages should only occur
  17.          the first time.

  20.       4. To un do the change click on the RESTORE button and 
  21.          your DOOM.exe will be restored.

  24.       NOTE:  Do NOT lock your doom directory!
