OCR: meop .yppirt . a . ton .si .siht Awake, did I, to find the sky Descending on the twisting Earth The fish flew high, the sun did cry, The coals lit up inside my hearth I did awake, but for my sake, I hid inside my melting bed The Earth did quake, the sun did bake And bits of Time fell on my head As I awoke, the mountains spoke And spouted firey purple prose Life was a joke, her laws were broke And grew a fifteen-inch long nose (?) I looked around upon the ground And saw the ceiling looking back A lovely sound became unbound And flew away, inside a sack Batons of stars, direct from Mars, Bombarded down like treasure hoarded Metallic bars declared their wars Upon the countryside distorted PMi \uluhtc eton .s' rohtua. This poem may suck, it may be trite, May be the worst schlock ever born But it shall teach me not to write My poems at two o' clock in the morn
