  3.        My name is Yannis Brown. I have been writing mods on the Amiga
  4. Scene now for about 5 years I think! However it has only been in the last 
  5. 2  years or  so  that  I have really written stuff that can be considered 
  6. decent. Yes we all start out as bumbling fools! 
  7.  
  8.     Anyway, here is a collection of my mods I feel are worth listening
  9. to.   Many  of them don't  really have  a single particular  style you can 
  10. associate with. All of them are written with ProTracker 2.3A on the Amiga 
  11. so PC owners should use a mod-player which is ProTracker Command Compatible
  12. otherwise some of the newer mods might sound a little funny.

  14. Ok Brag Time:
  15.     For all those of you who are interested in what sort of setup I use.
  16. I own an Amiga 500 with 4.5 meg ram, KickStart 2, an 80meg IDE hard drive. I
  17. use a relatively cheap sampler but can still get some pretty good stuff out of
  18. it. Also connected to the Amiga is my Roland D5 synth (which desperately needs
  19. upgrading... so if anyone wishes to send a donation I won't knock it back!)
  20. via a Com-Midi midi interface.

  22. Material/Hints:
  23.     Many people keep asking me about where I get my samples from. Well,
  24. when I started off, I used to take sound samples from any mod I could get my
  25. hands on! Other mods are a really good place for this. However, these days I
  26. sample alot of stuff from CD, anyone's synthesizer and still from other mods.
