Update
File Express is a database management program written for
the IBM Personal Computer and PC-compatible computers.
Using File Express, information of virtually any kind can be
put into the computer, then can be printed, sorted and
displayed. For example, a list of names and addresses can
be entered, then they can be sorted into zip code sequence
or last name sequence, printed out onto mailing labels, and
later updated as the list changes. The same data can be
included in reports, or simply displayed on the computer
screen when needed. File Express is very easy to use,
because it makes extensive use of "menus" and "prompts".
File Express evaluation copy comes with a manual which has
considerable tutorial content. There are hundreds of other
options and features of File Express which this evaluation
guide did not discuss, but which are discussed in depth in
the 310-page User's Guide.
Runtime: DOS version 2.0 or higher, 256K of RAM, two floppies
or hard disk, 80-column monochrome or color monitor.
