PAYROLL USA v3.10 Anthistle Systems Registration $149.95
BUSI MAY91 PAYROLL ACCOUNTING BOOKKEEPING W-2 941 ANTHISTLE

New Release
When other ShareWare Payroll Systems are available for
Registration Fees in the range of $70 to $100 you might
wonder why we at Anthistle Systems would charge $149.95 for
PAYROLL USA. Compare and you will see that PAYROLL USA is
quite simply worth the extra. And that extra is not as much
as it seems, you see we give away the first year's updates.
Register in 1991 and you get 1992 for FREE. Subsequent years
(1993 and later in this example) cost you just $50.00 (at
current rates) whereas some of our competitors charge the
whole Registration over again each year.
Annual upgrades of all payroll systems are essential, not
just because of tax changes but also because programs (and
computers) continually evolve, because new features are
added, because occasionally the Government throws a few curve
balls, like the new W-2 form for 1990, like splitting
Medicare from Social Security in 1991. You need these
changes in your office early in January - automatically - you
don't have time to check BBS's or ShareWare disk catalogs for
the availability of programs for the new year. Your payroll
is probably the biggest expense item in your financial
statements, you simply have to keep the programs that handle
it up to date.
Once you start a computer payroll system it is going to be
with you for a long time. You may as well pay a few bucks
more up front for the one you really want, the Rolls Royce of
payroll, the one that will grow with you and still be able to
handle your needs when you have hundreds of employees. That
one is PAYROLL USA. Anthistle Systems & Programming Ltd.,
were incorporated in 1979 and have had PAYROLL USA on the
ShareWare market since 1986 - we are a small but rock solid
long established company that you can reasonably suppose will
be around for a long time to come.
FEATURES: Completely Menu Driven for ease of use. Store
employee information with full screen editing and checking of
vital entry information. A free form text editor for notes
on employee education, work history, promotability, etc.
Calculate pay and taxes for any State. Maintain optional
liabilities for accrued vacation and sick pay. Special tax
calculation avoids overdeduction on vacation pay, annual
bonuses, etc. Print Payroll Register, Laser or Pinfeed
Checks, or Payslips for cash payrolls, Check Register, also
Summary Journal for any Accounting System, lists of
contributions made to any item (such as a list of premiums
deducted for your health insurance carrier). Handles
Deferred Compensation Plans, Cafeteria Plans, Tip Income,
etc. Lots of customizable features. In the Registered User
version you can even edit the W-2 forms before you print them
(for those inevitable last minute changes) with a tally of
how your edits have affected your W-3 totals, and print
Quarterly Federal and State Reports.
Other options include multiple pay periods (example
management paid monthly, office staff paid biweekly, manual
workers paid weekly) on the same employee file, also handles
multiple companies on the same computer, and can do after the
fact payroll. Payroll Register can be exported as a .DBF or
.DIF file if you want further analysis in a spreadsheet or by
a database program. Data files can be encrypted. Comes with
full documentation and a deletable test employee file for
practice sessions. Runs on any IBM PC XT, AT, PS/2, or
compatible 286/386 system using DOS 2.0 or higher. Hard Disk
and Printer Required.
