  27. APRO, founded in 1952, remains the oldest UFO organization, but since the death
  28. of co-founder Jim Lorenzon, its activities have become somewhat limited. The 
  29. APRO Bulletin is still published, however, and it still retains its membership 
  30. rolls.

  43. promoting responsible investigation of paranormal claims. They advocate 
  44. maintaining a skeptical attitude at all times in the research and review of UFO
  45. sightings, abductions, etc. Their help in "separating the wheat from the chaff"
  46. has been invaluable to UFO research.

  58. of pages of government documents impacting the UFO question, obtained under the
  59. Freedom of Information Act (often through CAUS-initiated litigation). Two of 
  60. the principals of CAUS recently published the book, "Clear Intent", in which 
  61. many of the FOIA documents can be found.

  83. is a 24 hour Bulletin Board System that makes available the latest reports, 
  84. articles and documents relating to Ufology. The BBS can be reached at 
  85. 206-722-5738, 1200 Baud. Other organizations under the UFOIS banner include 
  86. Puget Sound Aerial Phenomena Research, and BluePeace, a citizen's group 
  87. lobbying for investigation of unauthorized overflights of American military 
  88. bases by unidentified craft.
