The Column Letter

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Due to recent events, I have decided to start publishing a new magazine. DnA
magazine is well over a month overdue, and Arclight seems to be totally
unwilling to release it, and I feel this information needs to be getting out
to the people. Non'Serviam (founder of Sixth Column) seems to be in "fear
mode" with talk of dropping the Column and is engaging in isolationist
tactics - I know he's capable of setting up a mailer and getting onto nets,
but he just won't do it. Well, so be it. This needs to get out.
Things seem to be getting worse. Starting with Waco, there have been an
inordinate amount of deaths caused by government officials recently over what
amounts to 2nd Amendment rights. There is:
* Waco, of course - Supposedly Koresh had a "machine gun"
* The Weaver family massacre - Randy sold someone a shotgun
* The incident in Brunswick, Ohio - John Lekan was killed because he carried
gun around his young son (see article in this issue)
* A man in Parma, Ohio had his house sieged by the ATF, but with a rather
different outcome
In addition, a militia chaplain was killed by police in Ohio (see article in
this issue).
All these incidents point to the fact the government is becoming increasingly
bold in their attempts to stop us. The worst part is that they are using the
media to make us all look like extremist loonies and racists so that the
general public will think it's good that we are being killed. You see, it's
easy to make a small group of people who are exercising their rights look
like crazies, but as we grow larger and larger (which we MUST do in order to
survive), it will become harder to make us look like a bunch of nuts. It's
always easy to make people who are "different" look bad, but when it's not
"different" to exercise your rights, it will be impossible for them to make
us look bad, then when the government kills more of us, the public won't be
so happy about it, leading to ... who knows? No one WANTS a revolution, but
at this stage, what else can happen? If, before the next election, enough
people wake up (and people *ARE* waking up ... most people believe the ATF
was very wrong at Waco, etc...) and vote out the scum currently in office,
the battle MAY be over. We can only hope.
So, what does all this mean? Well, for one thing, if you have any run-ins
with police of any kind (be it federal, state, or local), you can now assume
they ARE going to shoot you. And, no, I don't mean shoot them first, unless
that's what you want - more (fire)power to you -- I simply mean be ready for
it - keep your weapon handy, maybe invest in some kevlar... Be ready for a
gun battle & have some backup available as well as an escape route. Also
keep your eyes and ears peeled for abuses of people's rights. Keep a scanner
nearby - I have tons of scanner freqs for every agency imaginable available
for download on my BBS. A recent event has proven that a group of people
showing up with video cameras CAN stop a massacre from happening (see
article in this issue). If you hear anything of the sort going down, grab
your camcorder and some friends (also with camcorders) and head on down. But
be sure to go prepared for anything else which might happen.
For the curious, I'm not a member of any militia (except for the
virtual "militia" of cyberspace), and I'm not a Sovereign. Why? Well, I
want to avoid drawing too much attention to myself. I want to be able to
continue to get information out to people, and I feel that by avoiding
government contact (which becoming Sovereign and/or joining a militia will
certainly make impossible), I can continue to get the information out for the
longest time. I am the information distributor, out here "behind the scenes"
making sure people are informed. I feel this is the best contribution to the
cause I can make.
I realize some of this material isn't exactly new, but a lot of people still
don't know about some of the things covered here.
I don't know when the next issue of The Column Letter will be out ... I
haven't decided on a release schedule yet, but it will most likely be either
monthly or bi-monthly. At any rate, you can be sure it'll be out before the
next DnA.
P.S. - For right now, I am the only author for The Column Letter - if you are
interested in writing for the Column, contact me. Contact methods (many of
them!) are listed in CLETV1I1.002. WE NEED AUTHORS!
