┌──────────────────────┐
│The Occult Underground│
└──────────────────────┘
By- Vandal
Have You ever noticed that when you first get into the occult you get
the feeling that you are the ONLY one into it. Well, at least, that's
what I thought when I was first getting into it about two and a half years
ago. Then I started to notice that a lot ov my friends had occult symbols
So I decided to start looking around. That is what this article is about, what
I found during my search.
About two years ago, I got my first Crowley Book; Magick, In Theory
And Practice. I studied it thoroughly, reading every part over and over
again, Taking my highlighter through it. I did learn one thing Major from
this: Study Was The Most Important Part! Soon after I began to purchase
more books, then more. It got real hectic, real fast. My mom found my
books and started to put the pressure on me to move out. About three months
later I moved out.
Being out gave me the chance to practice on a regular basis, it was
wonderful, But living in my room, practicing Yoga techniques gets boring real
Fast. I needed to find a friend to Talk about my practices to. Soon I
started hanging out at a new place, there were a LOT ov Magicians there, every-
one from Businessmen to Punk rock kids. It was amazing, they all met there
to talk and enjoy each others company.
I soon learned that there were places like this all over for students
to discuss their practices with more experienced magicians. There is no place
specifically designed for this purpose, the whole fact is that I was drawn to
people more like myself, as we are all. If you wish to find the Occult
network in your area, then, follow your instincts. If you go out and look
for it you'll never find it.
